Down-to-earth ingredients

 for everyday life

  • Included for its role as an electron carrier in mitochondria (the cell’s “power plant”) and its properties as an antioxidant.

  • An antioxidant essential for growth and development, including cellular function, iron absorption, and healing. Among its many benefits are immunity, cardiovascular health, cancer, and male and female fertility.

  • An anti-inflammatory antioxidant, shown to promote bone health and cellular function. More easily absorbed, vitamin D3 may benefit immunity, diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular function, and male fertility, including sperm health.

  • A more absorbable form of the B vitamin, folate, it’s essential for fertility, including pregnancy and sperm health. Additionally, it supports red blood cell formation cellular growth and function.

  • Selected for its antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, this nutrient may support immunity, asthma, heart health and circulation, and male fertility, including sperm function.

  • This powerful antioxidant pair may improve bone and cardiovascular health, cancer and male fertility, including sperm function. Grape seed extract imparts antibacterial and antifungal properties, while lycopene may benefit brain and vision health.

  • A natural sugar and antioxidant, the myo-inositol form was selected for its potential female fertility benefits, including for PCOS and ovulation. It may also support cell function and emotional health.

  • D-chiro-inositol converts from myo-inositol, and taking both together may improve female fertility. It also helps to regulate insulin and glucose and enables hormonal function.

  • An essential mineral and antioxidant for DNA and cell function, cancer, and thyroid and cardiovascular health. Selenium may be crucial for fertility, including sperm health and pregnancy.

  • An amino acid chosen for its blood pressure and circulation support. It may benefit male fertility, including semen health and erectile dysfunction.

It’s good to ask questions.

  • If fertility is your focus, you should choose vitamins and supplement blends containing such vitamins as C, D3, and folic acid, the mineral selenium, as well as coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), melatonin, and omega-3 fatty acids. Should you have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), it’s recommended that you take an inositol blend, which may help regulate ovulation and improve insulin resistance. Other nutrients shown to impart benefits for PCOS include prebiotics, probiotics, and the antioxidants grape seed extract and lycopene.

Taking daily multivitamins and for women, prenatal vitamins, may also benefit fertility health. Additionally, NutraBloom offers multiple products rich in antioxidants, nutrients found to defend against cellular damage caused by harmful molecules, called free radicals. While necessary for certain processes, like ovulation, excess free radicals can lead to oxidative stress, which can damage cell health and function. Antioxidants may support female and male fertility, including improving egg and sperm quality and pregnancy rates.

  • NutraBloom carries multiple supplements shown to improve female and male fertility and conception, mostly due to their antioxidative properties. While many nutrients have been found to promote female fertility, taking certain daily supplements is advised. These include vitamins C, E, and especially folate, recommended for all women of reproductive age. Other nutrients shown to boost female fertility are the mineral selenium, and the natural substances CoEnzyme Q10 (CoQ10) and myo-inositol.

These nutrients may also support male fertility, including sperm health and hormone production. Additionally, men may opt to take daily supplements of vitamin D, the mineral zinc, and such antioxidants as lycopene and grape seed extract. There are also nutrients, like the antioxidants vitamins C and E, that often work closely together to promote fertility. For women, these benefits may include those for ovulation, fertilization and egg health, and such conditions as endometriosis. They may also benefit male fertility, specifically sperm health and function.

  • The truth is, it’s never too early to start preparing your body for conception and pregnancy. However, in general, it’s recommended to take fertility supplements for at least 90 days before trying to conceive. Here are some examples of nutrients’ windows for effectiveness:

    • For CoQ10, healthcare experts recommend taking supplements for at least 90 days. A woman considering fertility treatment, like in vitro fertilization (IVF), may want to begin taking CoQ10 supplements about three months before the date they begin treatment.
    • Taking two vitamin C supplements daily for up to two months may increase sperm motility (movement) by 92% and sperm count by more than 100%. In another study, taking vitamin C five times a week for three months was found to defend sperm cells from DNA damage caused by free radicals.
    • A study involving infertile couples undergoing IVF treatment showed that taking vitamin E for three months significantly increased live-birth rates and IVF improvements.

NutraBloom supplements can be integrated into your routine in whatever manner is most convenient for you. That being said, it’s often recommended to take supplements with your largest meal of the day. Ideally, your meal should include healthy fat to improve the absorption of fat-soluble nutrients, such as CoQ10.

  • We designed NutraBloom products for every stage of life, but whichever supplement you’re considering, you should first discuss taking it with your healthcare provider. You also need to follow the recommended supplement dosages and amounts. Certain nutrients may need to be avoided, unless your doctor approves.

  • Certain NutraBloom supplements have been formulated to be vegan and gluten-free. These products include:

  • Should you be dealing with infertility, you may not be sure when to schedule an appointment with a fertility specialist, if at all. These physicians receive special training in treating men and women with conception issues, and typically, they’re board-certified in both obstetrics and gynecology, and possibly, reproductive endocrinology and infertility. When deciding whether to see a fertility specialist, certain factors, such as your age, or having existing conditions, like thyroid disease or PCOS, may factor into your decision. It’s recommended that women first talk with their gynecologist or primary care physician if they are either:

    • Under age 35, and have not conceived after a year of unprotected sex.
    • Are 35 years or older, and have not conceived after six months of unprotected sex.
